Kibale Forest National Park protects a tall tropical rainforest with one of the highest primate densities in Africa. Chimpanzee tracking is the main draw, usually paired with a guided walk through the neighbouring Bigodi Swamp for monkeys and birdlife.
Tracking runs year-round; forest trails are firmest from June to September and December to February.
